Wood (trading locally as PSNK) is currently looking for a Construction Work Pack Engineer (E&I) to join our team in Atyrau.

  • We are looking for candidates with the drive and commitment to make a genuine difference to our performance to ensure that the company continues to differentiate itself from competitors by delivering quality projects to our client’s requirements.

Accountability:

  • Compilation of construction Workpacks in a timely manner in line with the project schedule and to WGPSN procedures.
  • Basic Functions:
  • Provide construction input to estimates as and when required
  • Review design documents and provide constructability input to designs
  • Produce sequenced Job cards, Test and Inspection Matrices and compile workpacks which detail all construction activities.
  • Undertake visits to onshore facility or offshore installations to review designs and liaise with Construction Supervisors.
  • Identify any Specialist Vendor Support, Tools and Equipment required to implement scope.
  • Liaising with study team lead discipline engineers on developing solutions on FEED Studies
  • Operational interface with WGPSN Maintenance group on provision of operational and Maintenance elements with Client.
  • Undertake of onshore/offshore surveys and generation of reports where required.
  • Writing of construction / operational section of FEED report.
  • Assist with construction input to Bid preparation.
  • Development of Construction CTRs for Bid estimates.
  • Working in a team environment

Technical Requirements:

  • Full working knowledge of construction activities in relation to the relevant Piping, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrument discipline.
  • Ability to review engineering design drawings and undertake constructability reviews of design.
  • Ability to visit onshore facilities or offshore installations and discuss with construction supervisors and facilities management the forth coming scopes of work.

Responsibilities:

HS & E Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all Construction work commensurate with the lead discipline work complies with NCPOC and PSNK health, safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures; project specific HSE and Quality plans; and agreed with interfacing requirements with NCPOC, PSNK, sub-contractors, and others as appropriate.
  • Participate in the risk review process.
