Requirements:

  • Technical Education Degree
  • Experience in Oil & Gas industry with 6-8 years in production operations site preferably in H2S environment
  • Experience in commissioning, Start-up, Shutdown of production systems or equipment
  • Experience as Assessor, On the Job Trainer.
  • Experience delivery technical training for operations or maintenance disciplines.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory complianceKnowledge in hydrocarbon process control system for operation discipline.
  • Knowledge preventive/corrective activates for maintenance discipline.
  • Ability to influence colleagues.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills (English is desirable).
  • Ability managing change, uncertainty and working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability mentoring and coaching others.
  • HSE Induction.
  • Sour Hydrocarbons Induction (Sour H2S Induction).
  • H2S OPITO.
  • BOSIET (for offshore positions).
  • RoK regulatory compliance trainings and examinations for specialist level.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate excellent work safely, minimize risk and comply procedures.
  • Demonstrate excellence implementation of Competence Based Development process: set up standards, carry out assessment, planning and delivery of learning, appraisal of learning effectiveness.
  • Perform Competence Assessor and Verifier roles.
  • Assist Line Supervisors to prepare individual development plans to mitigate competency gaps and accumulate them into master learning plan.
  • Review implementation of individual development plans and recommend updates.
  • Review effectiveness of learning and suggest improvement areas.
  • Ensure all competence data is properly recorded and auditable.
  • Oversee development of new hires, monitoring progress and preparation of mitigation plans.
  • Guiding and mentoring of site personnel on the delivery of on the job training.
  • Support the competency assurance process to develop standards and assessment tools.
  • Develop and review training materials based on operation manuals or procedures.
  • Acting as Training Instructor to deliver some specific technical training.
  • Facilitate best practice and approach to enhance operation excellent:
  • Assist incident investigation process, like 5 whys, RCA
  • Assist roll out recommendations,
  • Assist MOC creating and implementation,
  • Assist review operation procedures,
  • Assist compile recommendations to improve work process,
  • Assist in troubleshooting or malfunction,
