Requirements:

  • Higher technical education 
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Facility Maintenance related role in preferably Oil & Gas industry
  • Construction and project management experience is essential
  • Proficient in English, Russian. Kazakh is also an advantage
  • Proficient with most Microsoft Office based applications and shared document management systems. Must have experience and be proficient with MS Excel, AutoCAD

Responsibilities:

  • Checks whether contractors have in place all necessary manuals, instructions for repair, operation and maintenance related to all types of mechanical equipment and Preventive Maintenance schedules for their compliance with Plans of Testing as per manufacturer’s recommendations, as well as Preventive Maintenance schedules, Operating Regulations and scope of standards and tests.
  • Ensures uninterrupted, technically correct use and reliable operation of equipment (pumps, rotating equipment, valves, heating system pipes, drinking, technical water, fire water, fire hydrants, gate valves, lifting mechanisms like winches, hoists, cranes, loaders, etc.)
  • Participates in testing, developing and reviewing of operation instructions, as well as existing, newly commissioned and upgraded mechanical equipment
  • Coordinates and interacts actions with other specialists and all contractors regarding to regulatory testing in accordance with the legislation of the RoK.
  • Developes scope of work.
  • Monitors quality of equipment installation, compliance of preventive maintenance schedule to the current legislation of the RoK.
  • Maintain technical documentation, develop work plans for a month, a quarter, a year, and in a long-term, with reference to the budget.
  • Participates in issuing of specifications
  • Participates in activities of technical and operational committees;
  • Participates in acceptance of new facilities and equipment
